Description
The 1-110 2-2x8RAFT is a great system for hobby, education or home food production. The plants are grown in the connected raft tank, a popular method of soilless plant production.  The raft system is a proven method of aquaponic growing with a good output of fish and plants.

The main culture components include 1 - 110 gallon fish tank, 2- 2' x 8' raft tanks for growing plants and a carefully designed filtration system that creates a healthy environment for the plants, fish and beneficial bacteria.

You need a continuous supply of electricity and a source of fresh, de-chlorinated water.

Cost does not include optional equipment, freight, installation or sales tax.  Some materials, such as lumber, cement blocks, PVC glue, lengths of PVC pipe need to be purchased locally.
