Agri-tourism Program Development

For those interested in incorporating agri-tourism into their greenhouse operation, Nelson/Pade offers a package to get you started.  One component of this package is a tour script that will incorporate information on the equipment you have, the history of hydroponics, the unique applications of hydroponics and the science behind hydroponics all into a fun and interesting presentation.  Several custom versions of the script that address different audiences such as schools, garden clubs and the general public will also be included.   

Nelson/Pade will design and create a print-ready booklet that can be given to all greenhouse guests.  The booklet will provide additional information about hydroponics, their tour experience and how they can set up a small hydroponic system at home.  

School groups will be a large part of an agri-tourism program and Nelson/Pade will provide custom curriculums for elementary, middle and high school students.  The curriculums will be for the teachers to use before and after their greenhouse tour.  This will maintain interest and enthusiasm and will help to bring groups back year after year.

Advertising your agri-tourism greenhouse is essential to the success of the program.  Nelson/Pade will create a unique, colorful  website that will draw attention and visitors to your operation.  In addition, a press release will be provided so you can generate free publicity.
