All About Aquaculture CD-Rom
Problem:  The opening video does not play after the notice "Opening All About Aquaculture" appears.

Fix:  Confirm that the default Windows audio and and video codecs are correctly installed on your computer.  For general information on Windows codecs, visit http://www.codecguide.com/faq.htm .  To install the default codecs on your computer, visit:
http://www.codecguide.com/install_default_codecs_in_Windows_XP.htm
for Windows XP

and http://www.codecguide.com/install_default_codecs_in_Windows_98.htm
for Windows 98/ME.

As a note, some computer games, downloads and upgrades alter your original default codecs so they might be installed incorrectly on your computer.  Various video codecs (formats) are used by video players, games and CD-Roms. This CD-Rom uses the Indio codec.

Problem: On the DVD PLUS version, I can't find the Aquaponics Journal files

Fix:  All of the extra content on the DVD PLUS version is in the Adobe Acrobat .pdf file format and can be viewed on a computer DVD-rom drive with the Adobe Acrobat Viewer (freely downloadable from www.adobe.com if you don’t have it).  If you get a window that asks what you want Windows to do, select “Open Folder to view files” and then OK.  Open the folder named “Additional content.”  The 2005 Aquaponics Journals are in a folder named “2005 Aquaponics Journals.”  The other files are outside of that folder.  Select and open the .pdf file you want to view.

If the DVD auto-plays, stop the video from playing and close the DVD player.  Open your “my computer.”  Right mouse click on your DVD-rom drive (it will say “AquaponicsDVDPLUS).  In the drop down window that appears, select open.  Open the folder named “Additional content.” You’ll see the 2005 Aquaponics Journals are in a folder named “2005 Aquaponics Journals.”  The other files outside of that folder.  Select and open the .pdf file you want to view.
