The 4-28 Demonstration system from Nelson and Pade, Inc. is an ideal teaching tool to demonstrate aquaponic food production and a good starter system for home food production. With the same design and components of a large-scale raft system (only smaller), it is a great system to learn the concepts and daily operation of a raft aquaponic system. The individual filter tanks (clarifier, mineralization and degassing) demonstrate all of the scientific principles of aquaponics, make operation easier and increase productivity.

The 4-28 system can also be used as a nursery for a larger system.
